River Docks
The Columbia and Willamette Rivers host a variety of docks and commercial facilities
for maritime commerce. These include grain elevators, silos for bulk mineral import
and export, automobile import/export yards, container facilities, petroleum tank
farms, chemical plants, break bulk cargo docks, ship repair drydocks, lay berths
and specialty, heavy-lift facilities.
